Michael is the Principal of Michael Group Solutions. Prior he served as the Chief Steward and National Director of Northwestern Mutual’s Financial Advisor Internship program – ranked one of America’s Top Ten Internships by Vault.com for 22 consecutive years.
Michael began his career as a Financial Advisor Intern in sales, establishing more than 100 clients. Upon graduation, he became a Career Financial Advisor and College Unit Director. Michael was recruited to Northwestern Mutual’s corporate office where he focused on the internship and leadership development for 31 years.
A passion for leadership development, mindset toughness and financial literacy, has led him to speak at more than 200 colleges and universities as well 65 collegiate conferences across the United States.
Michael attended his first PSE conference in 1989 and hasn’t missed one since – this year will be his 35th consecutive conference. He is a PSE Honorary Life Member, the 24th individual to receive the honor as well as served on the PSE National Council for 15 years as a professional vice president.
